Pupil Premium Grant Summary 2019-2020

Due to the changes to educational provision caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, during the academic year 2019-2020, the detail in the Pupil Premium Strategy for last academic year was adapted to meet our pupils' needs. During the pandemic the following key steps were taken to ensure that 'disadvantaged' pupils' barriers to learning continued to be overcome wherever possible:

Step 1: Individual support for education at home and access to our keyworker group at Newburgh.

Step 2: Loan of laptops and tables to ensure learning can be accessed at home.

Step 3: Provision of free school meals through the Edenred project

Step 4: Purchase of new PSHE/Covid-19 return to school adapted curriculum to ensure that we can support all children but in particular those who may be classified as vulnerable or who are in receipt of pupil premium grant.
